Overview

With the new job detail page, you get full creative control over the design of your job listings. The new structure is more modern, more flexible, and significantly more target-audience-oriented. This guide walks you through step by step how to set up, assign, go live with, and continuously optimize your job page templates – taking your JobShop to the next level.


INFO: In 2026 the new features will be rolled out gradually to designated customer groups and continuously expanded. The complexity of the current job pages and the entire JobShop will be taken into account. Feel free to discuss with your talentsconnect contact whether your JobShop already meets all the requirements or will be migrated in a later cohort.


Step 1: Set Up Job Page Templates & Assign Job Page Templates

1.1 Activation in the Page Manager

Before you get started, talentsconnect will activate the Job Page Templates feature in the Page Manager within talentsconnect Home for you. 


Once this has been done, you can find the new features in the Page Manager and create your first templates. 


1.2 Job Page Templates – the Heart of the New Job Detail Page

Job page templates replace the previous content maintenance process handled by the support team and determine:

  • what your jobs look like

  • which modules and content are displayed

  • which job details appear in the hero module

  • how information is automatically loaded from your job data

Step 2: Go-Live

Once you have finalized your templates, talentsconnect will take care of the go-live of the new job detail pages.


After activation:

  • all new job detail pages are automatically accessible at /jobs/[title]/[job-ID]

  • old URLs remain valid

  • redirects continue to work without any changes

  • existing integrations do not need to be adjusted

The transition happens smoothly and without interruptions.


Step 3: Real-Time Optimization

After go-live, the most important part begins: learning and optimizing.


Use the dashboards in talentsconnect Home to understand:

  • how candidates use your pages

  • which content performs best

  • which modules receive the most attention

  • at which point applicants drop off


Test different variants in a targeted way:

  • different job page templates

  • alternative headlines

  • different module orders

  • different positions of the Fast Application

  • visual adjustments in the hero area


Through continuous optimization, you sustainably improve both the conversion rate and the candidate experience.
