Understanding and making sense of recruiting channels - the new Channel Performance Dashboard is here!

"Make sure you post the job on Facebook!", "We really spend too much money on Stepstone. We have to cut the budget here.", "You should try Jobboard x." - Sentences that recruiters surely hear every day when it comes to guiding the right target group to the right job. In the end, however, real facts rarely speak, but rather gut feeling. Whether a channel is really successful for a target group, a job or a campaign is still a gut decision.

With the new channel performance dashboard in the Recruiting Home of the JobShop, we put an end to this and turn the decision about good or bad recruiting channels into data-based decisions that ultimately save hard cash.

What's new?

With a completely new dashboard in Recruiting Home, recruiters can now focus on evaluating, analyzing and optimizing their recruiting channels. The new channel performance dashboard includes the following features:

  • Filtering of channel performance by date, time window and channel types
  • Individual channels are grouped into channel types such as search engines, social media, job boards, email, etc., in order to answer the question of whether search engines or various social media platforms are more successful.

  • Widgets show the distribution of JobShop visitors and applicants by channel type
  • Key facts such as conversion rate, average dwell time, bounce rate and number of applications are clearly displayed for each channel type
  • Recruiters can search for specific recruiting channels and campaigns to analyze the success for certain jobs and job categories.

What is the advantage for you as a recruiter?

Save money

With the Channel Performance Dashboard, you can analyze exactly which recruiting channels bring candidates and applicants into the recruiting funnel. Up-to-the-minute evaluations show you which channels are performing above or below average. This way you can save money in the long run and shift the budget to the channels that really bring success. With the dashboard, you can even see this on three levels: Job, channel and campaign level.

Save valuable time

Recruiters use different platforms, job boards etc. and each channel has its own dashboard with numbers. A lot of time is spent analyzing these numbers, but what really ends up in the funnel is not told by these dashboards. In the channel performance dashboard, these numbers are aggregated and, in the case of a Fast Application, evaluated all the way to the actual application - because what counts is the last click in the JobShop. This puts an end to rummaging through many dashboards.
