We are excited to announce a significant update to our Recruiting Homes. We have added the ability to activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This enhanced security feature can now be implemented, giving us the flexibility to provide an additional layer of protection to you as needed.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):
We have introduced 2FA to strengthen the security of your Recruiting Homes accounts. This means that, in addition to entering their password, users will be required to provide a second form of verification before gaining access to their accounts.
Activation:
With this update, we can choose to activate 2FA for specific customers. This means that you have the flexibility to offer enhanced security to clients who require it, while allowing others to opt-out or use 2FA at their discretion.
What exactly is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security process that requires users to provide two different authentication factors to verify their identity when logging into an account or system. These factors typically fall into three categories. This factor refers to a biometric characteristic unique to the user, such as a fingerprint, facial recognition, or retina scan.By requiring two different factors, 2FA significantly enhances security by making it more difficult for unauthorized individuals to access an account, even if they manage to obtain the user’s password. It is a proven method to protect against various forms of cyberattacks and unauthorized access. We believe that this new feature will further enhance the security of our Recruiting Homes and provide peace of mind to both us and our clients.
