Connection of the JobShop to various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

For what purpose do we connect an ATS?

Basically, there are two reasons to connect an ATS to JobShop. 


  1. To automatically import jobs into the JobShop. 
  2. To export applications from the JobShop application form to our customers' ATS.


How does the integration take place?

To import jobs into the JobShop.

We only need a feed (XML or JSON) and, if it is encrypted, the appropriate credentials. 

Our Implementation Managers will look at your data and create an appropriate mapping to our data structure. It is important to note that JobShop has some functions that are controlled by your data supplied in the feed. For example, automated categorization of jobs can only occur if the appropriate category information is also present in the feed. You work with your Customer Happiness Manager to define which fields are used to assign a job to a specific category. 

Once we are ready with the implementation, we test extensively and make the interface live. From then on, your jobs will be regularly updated in JobShop.


For exporting applications from JobShop.

We will need the following information: 

  1. The contact information for a technical contact who is familiar with your ATS.
  2. The documentation of your ATS for the interface to receive applications. 
  3. The access data to your interfaces including the endpoint.
  4. If not available in the documentation, the target fields to which talentsconnect should send the data.
  5. Information about special features, such as an IP release or the names of special fields.

Currently, we use kombo.dev middleware exclusively for the application interfaces to SAP Success Factors.
