Applying via WhatsApp - our partner PitchYou enables secure and protected mobile recruiting via WhatsApp. By using the globally popular messenger service WhatsApp, candidates can intuitively go through the application process in a familiar application on their smartphone.
With the integration of PitchYou into the JobShop, you can display the popular WhatsApp application as an additional application option directly on your job detail pages.
In this guide, we will take you through the various settings and functions so that you can set up PitchYou quickly and easily in the JobShop.
When can I use PitchYou in the JobShop?
In order to integrate PitchYou into your JobShop, you must already have a contract with PitchYou. In our partner model, we will of course support you in the process and the exchange with our colleagues at PitchYou.
How does the setup work?
If you are already using an applicant tracking system (ATS) that supports the PitchYou integration, the PitchYou application URL required for the WhatsApp application can be imported directly into the JobShop via the interface from your ATS. If you are not using a ATS or your ATS does not yet support the PitchYou integration, you can activate the WhatsApp application for individual or all jobs together with the PitchYou user interface and the Recruiting Home.
A. Importing the PitchYou application URL from your ATS
- As a new JobShop customer, we can schedule the import of the PitchYou application URL right from the start. As an existing customer, we can extend the interface for you at any time so that the PitchYou application URL is imported from your ATS.
- If required or in case of changes, simply get in touch with one of your contacts at talentsconnect.
- As a rule, we receive the PitchYou application URL via the job feed of your ATS individually for each job. Alternatively, we need the structure of the PitchYou URL so that we can construct the URL for each job in the JobShop using all the information from the job feed.
- For each job that contains a PitchYou application URL, the button for the WhatsApp application will automatically appear on your job detail pages in the JobShop.
B. Using PitchYou without BMS
- On request, we will first set up all the necessary settings for you to use PitchYou in your JobShop.
- Once set up, you will find a new input field called "PitchYou application URL" in the job processing mode in the Recruiting Home.
- Log in to the Recruiting Home > Select JobShop > Select menu item Jobs > Select job > Select application options
- The application URL to be entered can now be created by you for each job in the PitchYou software, copied from there and then pasted into the corresponding field in the Recruiting Home.
- To make the previous step easier for you, we will also provide you with the URL to your PitchYou login so that you can log in to PitchYou directly from the Recruiting Home. This way, we ensure that you have a direct link to PitchYou via the Recruiting Home.
- The login URL for PitchYou is always composed as follows: https://COMPANY.pitchyou.de/
Further information:
The button for the WhatsApp application is only displayed to candidates in the JobShop if a valid URL has been entered in the field for the PitchYou application URL.
In principle, this also offers the option of integrating or testing PitchYou for selected jobs only.
Can the appearance of the WhatsApp application button be customized?
