Homepage Editor: Editing an image

Modified on Thu, 4 Jan at 12:13 PM

In addition to editing the text, you can also edit existing images in the Homepage Editor.

To do this, open the Homepage Editor, click on the content module to be edited and scroll down on the page that is now displayed until you see this symbol next to the media content:

You are now in image editing and have three options here:

  1. Crop
  2. Fine tuning
  3. Overlay

1. Cropping

In the Crop option, you can adjust the crop of the desired image so that it fits exactly into the size of the module.

You can also rotate, scale or mirror the image.

2. Fine tuning

With this option, you can make final adjustments if the image does not yet fit 100% into the overall picture of your JobShop, e.g. in terms of contrast or brightness.

Similar to Instagram, for example, you can make a few minor adjustments.

To do this, simply drag the slider to the left or right by clicking on it and then holding down the left mouse button:

3. Overlay

With the "Overlay" option, you can place a color filter over the image if you want the image to be slightly darker or lighter overall, e.g. to make the text easier to read.

To do this, select the color below and, if desired, the line color and corner rounding of the overlay:

You can also select the degree of opacity of the overlay under Fill color:

Once you have made the necessary settings, drag the mouse over the image as if you wanted to select an area and the overlay will be inserted. You can then move it or undo the adjustment.

Finally: as soon as you are satisfied with your adjustments, don't forget to click on "Update image" in the top right-hand corner so that the adjustments are also applied.
